Transformation or change is one of the hardest things as human beings we have to deal with. For us society must be visible and very real with a sense of stability to boot. For most, without visual proof and secure surroundings, the experiences of change are denied and not seen. With alteration of space and preconceptions, can we truly cross these thresholds?

For me the threshold is a point at which the conceived experience or object is changed into something that is beyond the existing threshold. My work process engages with the development of looking and experiencing 'how' and 'why' threshold or transformation takes place.
